The Absalon Church is one of the first Danish church buildings to be sold to a private investor The new owner, Lennart Lajboschitz, founder of Tiger, now intends to make the church a central gathering place for the Copenhageners.
During the past semester 30 Lighting Design students from Aalborg University in Copenhagen have been working on creating new possibilities by transforming the Absalon Church with light.
The outcome and it’s potential for the local area will at this event be presented by the students to a board consisting of:
- Lennart Lajboschitz, Owner of the Absalon Church building
- Claus Alstrup Borre, Architect at City of Copenhagen,
- Peter Lassen, COO & Partner, Commercial Real Estate Agent Colliers
- Mikkel Toksværd, Project Sales Manager, Martin Professional
- Local citizen (not confirmed)
